CBCChristmas by the Coast

Interactive magazine feature

Build a coastal Christmas day your family can actually do.

Pick the meals, energy level, kid jobs, and main adventure. The planner turns those choices into a complete breakfast-to-bedtime itinerary with a weather fallback. Nothing is uploaded, saved, or sent anywhere.

Real food, real options

Start simple or make the meal part of the adventure.

Buttered toast and eggs

Toast, butter, eggs cooked to your family's liking, and fruit. Fast enough to leave room for the pool, beach, or fishing dock.

Kid-made French toast

Let kids crack eggs one at a time into a separate bowl, whisk with milk and vanilla, and help dip the bread with an adult.

Cinnamon note: add cinnamon directly to the bread, not the eggs. It coats each slice instead of floating and clumping in the egg mixture.

Dinner from easy to all-in

Heat a frozen lasagna, order takeout or dine out, or roll pizza dough and let the kids choose toppings. The day does not become more meaningful because dinner was harder.

Adults handle hot pans, ovens, knives, raw-egg cleanup, and allergen decisions. Do not taste raw dough. Follow package directions and current food-safety guidance.
